Part 1: Main concepts 27 10 Context menus The user can open a context menu by pressing the right mouse button. This menu allows users to easily access the specific features of a window or control. WINDEV allows you to manage two types of context menus: • system context menus managed by Windows. These context menus appear when the user right-clicks on some types of controls (Edit control, Table, etc.). • custom context menus managed by WINDEV. These menus are created in the window editor and can be manipulated programmatically. WINDEV allows you to create custom context menus and associate them with: • one or more controls in a window. • a window. For example: 10.1 Context menu edit windows WINDEV allows you to create and modify custom context menus in a specific edit window.
