CONTINUOUS INTEGRATION - SOFTWARE FACTORY 083 N e w f e a t u r e W D W B WM RIGHTS MANAGEMENT IN THE SOFTWARE FACTORY For security reasons, a rights management system has been implemented in the Software Factory. This system is optional. The following rights can now be defined: • Add/Modify/Delete an action plan library. • Add/delete an instance • Modify the parameters of an instance • Run and schedule an instance. • Configure the Software Factory Reminder: An “instance” is an action plan with a set of parameters. The same action plan can be used in multiple instances. Benefit of this new feature in version 2026: Better control over key actions 084 N e w f e a t u r e W D W B WM 3 NEW ACTIONS In version 2026, the Software Factory offers three new actions: • Delete an SCM branch • Convert a project to text or binary format • Generate a project statistics file: number of elements in the project, number of lines of code, number of lines of code modified between 2 dates, etc. These actions complement the 118 actions already available. OAUTH SECURITY - USER GROUPWARE 086 N e w f e a t u r e W D W B WM OAUTH TOKEN FOR AUTHENTICATION The User Groupware can use OAuth tokens for authentication. The WLanguage gpwLogin function now accepts an OAuth token as a parameter. End users who are already authenticated don’t have to enter their password again. Benefit of this new feature in version 2026: Automatic authentication OAUTH SERVER 087 N e w f e a t u r e W D W B WM • OAUTH SERVER ADMINISTRATION IN WLANGUAGE An OAuth server comes as standard with WEBDEV Application Server. Now, you have access to administration options for this OAuth server in WLanguage, in addition to the existing options from the administration site. A new series of WLanguage wdbaas functions allows you to create, modify and delete users.
