This feature significantly improves productivity by reducing stop/ start cycles, especially when fixing bugs or adjusting business logic on the fly. For example, in a "step-by-step" debugging mode, if a developer discovers that an error case has not been handled, they can simply write the error handling code, and continue debugging with the current data.
